The small trough drinkers work as follows: the animal presses down the yellow tongue, causing water to flow into the trough. The large trough drinkers have a built-in float that keeps the water level in the trough constant.

Operation is only with low pressure, for example, by connecting to our water tank Art. 20185, which can in turn be directly connected to the water supply. With this affordable low-pressure drinking trough variant, the water tank must be at most 50 cm above the trough because otherwise the pressure becomes too high and the trough may become leaky. Alternatively, we recommend the highest quality solution: drinking troughs made of Bakelite; Art. No. 24040.
