Mode of efficacy:
INTER Silikat consists of diatomaceous earth, which is a natural mineral. It was made from microscopically small shells of dead diatoms. The crystalline structure of the silicate destroys the wax layer of the pests so that they dry out and die off after a few hours resp. after up to two days.

Application:
Inter Silikat is suitable for areas in poultry-, pigeon-, rabbit-, sheep- and goat-houses. Also suitable for application in the environment of pet animals such as dogs and cats, as well as living areas such as kitchens and basements.

Method of use and dosage:
Inter Biosilikat is usually used as a powder. To prevent dust formation as well as to increase grip on vertical areas it is also possible to add water in a 15% solution. (150g powder to 1 litre water)
Use 30-50 g per m².
Spray the liquid solution with a watering can or another suitable nebuliser and let the product dry out. Disperse the ready to use powder with a suitable bottle or nebuliser.

Treatment of small animal houses esp. for poultry and pigeons: Especially against mites the Spray should be sprayed extensively and visibly. Treat the hiding places of mites like perches, cracks, corners and cavities thoroughly.
Environment of pets: Treat the sleeping spots of dogs and cats or disperse a dust barrier of 5-10g per running meter.
Domestic areas: Spray into dry wall crevices and joints, hatching- and running areas or disperse a dust barrier of at least 0.5 cm width and 0.2 cm height.

Application Instructions:

To reduce dust formation when applying and to improve adhesion, especially on vertical surfaces, the product can be diluted to a 15% solution.

Inhalation:

Skin Contact:
Wash thoroughly with plenty of water and soap, remove contaminated, soaked clothing immediately. If skin irritation (redness, etc.) occurs, consult a doctor.
Eye Contact:
Rinse eyes thoroughly with plenty of water for several minutes. If necessary, consult a doctor. Do not rub eyes. The product is mechanically abrasive.
Ingestion:
Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Give plenty of water to drink, and if necessary, consult a doctor.
